I’m a web designer / developer living in Horley, UK and am currently employed by AIRMILES as the Senior Online Designer. Please note though that any opinions expressed on this site are my personal opinions, and not necessarily shared by my employer.
Apart from a number of small web projects that I’m dabbling with on the side, I am currently freelancing on a new travel image stock library website called travelography.co.uk. It’s worth a visit if you are interested in travel stock photography.
This site, bwtcreative.co.uk, is my personal online ’spot’. It’s mostly a place where I can experiment with different ideas, post a few articles and comment on subjects that are interesting and useful to me and hopefully to other web professionals, both developers and designers. Most articles on this site are related to design, web standards, accessibility, or usability in one way or another, with the occasional article on other subjects ;)
Technology
The front end of this site is built using valid XHTML 1.0 Strict. If you check any page on this site with the W3C HTML Validator there should be no errors. It also contains a whole bunch of mostly valid CSS 2.1, and small amounts of (hopefully) unobtrusive JavaScript.
The backend is powered by Apache, MySQL and the excellent WordPress. The whole site sits on a dedicated server provided by CWCS.
